Club Guidelines

Rules & Ethics

We are committed to providing a safe, positive, and incredibly fun environment. Please review our mandatory site guidelines before attending.

🦴

Dog Welfare & Equipment

  • Injured dogs are not eligible to play or compete at any club events, competitions, or gatherings.
  • We highly recommend crating your dog between runs for proper rest, and we strongly encourage proper warm-ups and cool-downs.
  • Prong, choke, electronic, and similar training collars are not allowed on or near the field; Martingale collars and slip leads are perfectly fine.
🐕‍🦺

Grounds Etiquette

  • All dogs must remain on leash at any club competition, gathering, or event when it is not their turn.
  • Please respect dog space: no dogs are to meet on leash, and it is recommended to keep a 10-foot radius from others at all times.
  • Dogs may not sit or hang out on the sidelines when it is not their turn; this advocates for the success and safety of the dog currently on the field.
  • No playing disc is allowed anywhere within sight of the field when it is not your turn.
🥏

Field Protocol

  • Treats, cookies, and food meant for dogs are not allowed on the competition field and may not be used as a lure or reward.
  • The field is completely off-limits unless it is your turn to compete or it is announced as a throwing practice.
  • Only one dog is allowed out off-leash at a time; you must wait for the previous dog to be leashed and under control before you enter.
  • All of our sanctioned competitions follow the rules of the specific organization we are running under.
🤝

Human Conduct & Admin

  • Events are fun first! We will not tolerate any abuse towards animals or humans (verbal, physical, social media, etc.), and you may be asked to leave if behaviour is unacceptable.
  • The club may take videos and photos for promotional use; however, selling photos/videos taken at our events without advance permission is prohibited.
  • Refunds will not be issued for event entries, though under very rare, special circumstances the club may consider offering a credit on a case-by-case basis. The club is not liable for theft or damages.
  • Volunteering is very much appreciated, but you are not obligated to do so!

If it's not in the rules, please don't be afraid to ask an Admin member!
We insist that you let the club know immediately if there are any concerns or issues during an event so we can help.
